This dish was filled with hot water to keep the meat warm during dinner service. Amazingly comes with the original ceramic topped cork

The Royal Doulton stamp indicates this was produced between 1902 - 1922 and is the base of a meat warming dish that would have originally come with a lid.

A stunning decorative time worn and weathered ironstone piece that would be a perfect addition to your ironstone collection or decorate with candles for a brocante table centrepiece look

ITEM CONDITION:

All my items are preloved vintage and therefore have had a previous life. Although every effort is made to describe the items condition, items will have usually accumulated the usual wear, tear and patina over the years. Beyond this I will endeavour to describe any damage or significant detail that I feel you should be aware of. I will happily provide further photographs upon request.

In really lovely vintage condition, with lots of patina to the glaze including crazing, and age spots.

Please study the photos carefully before committing to purchase as this forms part of the overall description.
